Chris was a very professional and competent guide and an absolute gentleman. From the get go he knew exactly what he was doing and where to find the fish. He taught us different methods and how to be an effective angler. We caught 3 different species and the rods were bending all day. If the fish are there, Chris will find them, and if they are biting you will be catching fish. I strongly recommend Chris’s experience and services to anyone from beginner to advanced angler, he really knows his stuff.

Offered a day of fishing to my father and he had his best fishing experience ever! I went with them and actually enjoyed the day as much as my father (even more since I caught the biggest pike of the day ahah).
Although I am not crazy about fishing myself, Chris really passed on his passion. He is a brilliant teacher, I learned so many things about fishing but also the lake and environment we were in.

Excellent experience out with Chris from Go Fishing Ireland. Took out myself and the 7 and 12 year old. Learned all the basics while keeping it fun for the kids. From smaller fish caught on the bank to larger fish caught in the boat. Would highly recommend.

It was an unforgettable experience, I will repeat it very soon with my friends. The service is impeccable, Chris Barry provides the comfortable boat and his best fishing equipment (in addition to the life jacket, very important for safety) and offers his sympathy and his great fishing experience. Chris knows the lake like the back of his hand and knows how to best direct the fishing action taking into account the needs of the guest fisherman and his way of fishing, guiding him and teaching him the best techniques and rigs. In the day spent with him, even if the weather conditions and the season weren’t the best, I managed to catch eight splendid big pikes and many others attacked my lures.
